Well this seems very silly, in the town I live you have to constantly swerve in and around parked vehicles in order to avoid oncoming traffic and you have to get very close to other cars, if I get a picanto with this system on it my car will continually keep breaking itself. I was about to buy a Picanto but now this feature has come to my attention I will be getting something else.

I'm sorry but stating that regenerative braking improves range is just marketing talk targeted at people who don't understand the technology. it's off course factually true but it's only half the story. The fact is that you can only regenerate about 65% of the energy already used from the battery to bring the car up to speed and that means you will go longer on a charge if you drive in a smooth and planning-ahead way so you don't have to use regeneration. I drive my Ioniq with zero regneration and get 9+ km/kWh in the summer and NO EV's out there is more efficient than that.

You need to add a way to turn it off permanently. I recently hired a Kia and it tried to steer me into a truck on the M25 due to damp road reflecting road repair strips etc. It's also incredibly aggressive compared to my Jaguar. I had to turn it off so many times in a single day because it keeps defaulting back to active. On smaller busier roads I felt like I wasn't really in control while the system was active.

Not everywhere, I just got a Sportage plug in and just amfew charging stations have the J1772 connection, no adapter available (yet, if ever) to go from CCS to J1772, only for Tesla.

I hate it, Trying to make a U turn one time the sensor picked up the cars passing me and slammed my brakes. There wasn't just one car there were many. I couldn't make the U turn until the cars were gone. I turned it off and will never use it again.

I hate this feature. Causes more unnecessary braking and increases risk of collision because the driver isn’t in control.

So a few weeks ago I got a 2018 Kia hybrid optima EX. I really do like the vehicle, wish I would have down the one with the technology pack though before I bought it. So far I haven't had any real issues with the only minor concern I had was how sluggish it is going on inclines. It honestly felt like I was driving my old 1984 Lincoln Town car uphill with this vehicle. Though I do plan on upgrading in about a year or so to better Kia I just felt this was the only shortfall that I seen so far with this one

Nice. Car looks good but TBH we got so much plastic around us that I try to use paper and wood were possible as we get full of plastic. Sorry I know it doesn't fit the current narrative but I really believe too much plastic in food and around food as well as in our life has impact on cancer and other ilnesses we get. If you start with me about been giving Kia or electric cars a bad name than just for your attention I drive Kia EV car everyday and yes it does have seats made of recycled plastic (looks like kind of grey material but it does wash quite well as I got upholstery cleaner).

Kia also doesn't listen to its customers and still doesn't allow full screen Android auto even on new models (EV6). How frustrating! We don't want a stupid widget, we want a full screen Android auto option!
